In 2013, Chinook Building Envelope Services was formed, signifying a new era in our company’s journey. This pivotal moment marked a shift towards a more comprehensive approach, one that extended beyond roofing to encompass a comprehensive range of building envelope solutions.
Driven by our unwavering commitment to excellence and profound care for both our employees and clients, another major decision was made in 2018. We embarked on the journey to become an employee-owned company, creating an employee-stock-owned trust. This transition has fostered a culture of accountability, empowerment, and shared ownership, propelling us forward as a unified and dedicated team.

Why an ESOP?

R & C Roofing and it’s entities has never been viewed as a legacy organization formed for the benefit of original owners and their future generations. The initial plan of action was for the company leadership team to acquire ownership equity. Company growth, success and increase in value made this process cumbersome and other options were explored.
Ultimately, an employee ownership plan, which is somewhat unique to the construction industry was determined to be a path that provided the advantages to staff, ownership, growth and value.
